Pricing

Predictable plans. No surprises.

Every paid plan gets the same core product — Guard, Payments, Payment Truth, Payment Passport, Reconciliation, Webhooks and supported Access. Plans differ by environment, how many Payment Operations and API requests you run, project count, rate and support — never by which truth or evidence features you get. Prices are per month, billed in USD; annual pays for ten months and gives you 2 free.

A plan authorises use and sets how much. It never changes what a network can do — capabilities remain network-dependent, exactly as the Proof Center reports them. PLAN_ENTITLEMENT != BLOCKCHAIN_CAPABILITY.

What is a Payment Operation?

One accepted PRODUCTION payment-session creation, or one accepted direct payment-verification operation. It is the unit of monitoring and truth work we do for you — and it counts whatever the eventual truth: paid, underpaid, overpaid, late, wrong destination, expired or unestablished. The work of watching and establishing the truth was done either way.

TEST Payment Operations are always free. A malformed or unsupported request that is rejected is not a Payment Operation.

One Payment Operation is not charged twice. These do not add a Payment Operation (they count toward API requests where applicable):

  • idempotent retry
  • polling / status read
  • webhook retry
  • Passport issuance
  • Passport correction
  • reconciliation action
  • Guard evaluation tied to the workflow

How billing works

No percentage of value

You pay for Payment Operations and requests, never a cut of the money that moves. A $1 payment and a $1M payment cost the same to observe.

Non-custodial

StoneReason never holds your funds or your keys. Payers pay your address directly; we observe and prove it.

Fees are separate

Network gas and any provider fees are between you and the chain or your provider. Fee Abstraction is bring-your-own-provider; StoneReason finances no gas.

TEST is free

Build and test on the Developer plan at no cost. You pay when you go to production.

Predictable limits

At 80% and 90% of an allowance you are warned; at 100% new billable work is refused — there is no surprise dollar overage. Work already accepted always finishes.

Rate is an account allowance

The req/s figure is an API rate limit for your whole account, shared across your projects — not guaranteed dedicated throughput and not an SLA. Adding projects shares the allowance, it does not multiply it.

Upgrade any time

Upgrading raises your limits immediately. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.

Ready when you are.

No card to start. Production plans require a verified email and an active plan. There is no SLA, and current capability is exactly what the Proof Center shows.
